Buzz Krohn, Assistant Coach
Buzz played High School Lacrosse here in Howard County, MD. He went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at Radford University. After college, Buzz has played men’s club lacrosse with Glyndon, Smart Link, Blarneys, Mr Boh and Koopers lacrosse clubs for past 2O years. Buzz has also coached Girls and Boys recreational lacrosse in HOCO for over 5 years. Buzz coached the Zingos Boys 2023 Black Team from 5th grade through HS. He assisted with the recruitment of 20 players to play college lacrosse at D1, D2 and D3 programs including Mount St Mary’s, Queens College, Towson, Lynchburg University, Franklin and Marshall and Washington and Lee. Buzz is the current Assistant Coach for Boy’s varsity lacrosse at Centennial High School in Howard County. Buzz’ two oldest children played lacrosse at Glenelg High School and both are playing in college as well. Buzz is married to his high school sweetheart of 26 years. He enjoys racing Ironman and other endurance races including 4 Ironman 140.6 finishes. And the London, Chicago and Marine Corp Marathons multiple times. Buzz lives in Glenelg with his wife Joanne and his 3 children Josie, Alex and Michael.
